A DIHBU pioneering project, which provides SMEs in Castilla y León with test scenarios for private industrial 5G networks, collaborative/mobile robotics, and industrial exoskeletons.
POLEALab is a unique project with regional funding of €488,400, which fosters the acceleration and industrial scaling of cutting-edge technological solutions.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, the DIHBU will officially inaugurate the POLEALab facilities, in a ceremony that will take place at ITCL Technology Center (member of DIHBU), and will be attended by representatives of the Regional Government and the City Council of Burgos, among other authorities.
A small group of guests, made up of authorities, companies and the media, will be able to visit the POLEA LAB facilities tomorrow. The opening ceremony will begin at 10.00 a.m. and will include a presentation of the project and its objectives, and a visit to the Labs space.
Facilities oriented to favour the acceleration and industrial scaling up of solutions
The POLEA LAB facilities will showcase different technological solutions in operation through a private 5G network, and collaborative robotics elements, as well as exoskeletons designed for industrial use, as a technology demonstration.
The space will host a range of advanced services, from personalised technical training to proof-of-concept design, prototype validation and support for industrial scaling. These centralised services in the same space represent a cutting-edge solution operated from the industrial digitalisation ecosystem of Castilla y León.
The first demonstration equipment will be on display tomorrow, but the project labs will host different elements as temporary technology demonstrations. In the field of mobile collaborative robotics, the physical demonstration space of POLEA LAB is being extended to external facilities, as larger dimensions are required. In this sense, the use of a showroom specifically for working with these technologies is planned for the coming weeks.
