On 28 May 2025, the European EAGLE project successfully held the international conference Strengthening Cyber Resilience in SMEs in Turku, Finland. This event brought together experts, policy makers and representatives of SMEs to address the challenges and opportunities in cybersecurity. DIHBU participated in the conference, moving its project technician Laura Guimaraes to Turku.

During the day, topics such as the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act, updates to the NIS-2 Directive, and the importance of continuing training in digital skills, such as that offered by the EAGLE project, to strengthen the cyber resilience of SMEs.

The event also featured a round table on the future of cybersecurity skills and services, with the participation of representatives from the University of Burgos, coordinator of the EAGLE project.

The event was streamed online, allowing participation of a global audience.
