An SME in Castilla y León dedicated to the foundry activity, is looking for a suitable exoskeleton to incorporate operators with arduous tasks, where it is necessary to lift weights and move parts in a hostile environment. Specifically, it is looking for a solution to reduce the operator’s effort in the deburring process.

The company is currently using a small crane to move non-homogeneous parts in this part of the process.

The parts to be moved are not homogeneous. The weight range is usually 20-60 kg, and can go up to 150 kg. The company is looking for an alternative solution to a robot or a cobot, since the environment where the process must be carried out is hostile, and the solution must be incorporated directly to the operator.

The company is looking for technical cooperation agreements (development of prototype-testing) or commercial agreements (purchase of the exoskeleton and technical support for its adaptation and use).
