Open Call InnoMatch – Call for innovation buyers
The InnoMatch call is an EU-funded initiative to help public and private entities with innovation challenges
This program allows collaboration with a number of first-rate suppliers, to meet the challenges by deploying tailor-made solutions, through a structured process of innovation acquisition.
First the “buyers” pose the challenges, and the best ones are selected. In a second call, potential solution providers are selected.
Who can apply?
EU public and private buyers, through individual or group applications.
The challenges must fit into one of the following thematic areas:
- Agriculture, food and beverages
- Construction, infrastructure and manufacturing
- Digital transformation and artificial intelligence
- Energy, environment and sustainability
- Health and life sciences
Financing offered
InnoMatch will fund up to 60,000 euros to implement the solution for each selected challenge. This support will be given to the technology supplier ultimately selected to provide the solution
Benefits for “buyer” entities
- Address an existing challenge/need free of charge, in collaboration with a solvent provider who will be specifically selected for this in the programme. InnoMatch will provide up to €60,000 for the supplier to design the solution, with no cost to the buyer.
- Reduce the risks of innovation acquisition by developing concept tests or pilot trials before actual acquisition (test before investment).
- They will learn about demand-driven innovation through a lean approach.
