DIHBU has started its participation as a collaborating DIH in the AI-MODE (Artificial Intelligence for Maintenance, Onboarding, and Data Exchange) project, led by its partner Alpha Syltec Ingeniería and selected in open call 1 of the EU-funded WASABI program.
The AI-MODE project aims to develop a virtual assistant based on generative artificial intelligence for maintenance operations and training new operators.
AI MODE encompasses the development of a prototype and a pilot application in a real-world scenario, and aims to save companies money and provide an effective support tool for the rapid training of new operators and the resolution of industrial maintenance incidents in real time.
DIHBU’s main role will be to provide the testing environment (PROHIMA’s factory in Barcelona) where the solution will be tested. We will coordinate the testing and verify that it meets the requirements for prototype validation. In addition, DIHBU will disseminate the project’s progress and results, thereby supporting its scalability and adoption by new companies within its ecosystem.
The project will last for 12 months. The total funding obtained for the project is €60,000.
The AI-MODE project is also a success story for EDIH DIGIS3, of which DIHBU is a member. This case exemplifies how the ecosystem and funding support services offered by DIGIS3 can help companies find the right partners and access European funding.
